Catalyzes the rate-limiting step of the oxidative pentose-phosphate pathway, which represents a route for the dissimilation of carbohydrates besides glycolysis. The main function of this enzyme is to provide reducing power (NADPH) and pentose phosphates for fatty acid and nucleic acid synthesis. SWISS: P11413 Gene ID: 2539 G-6-PD（Glucose-6-phosphate Dehydrogenase）。一種存在於人體紅血球內(nèi)，協(xié)助葡萄糖進行新陳代謝之酵素，在這代謝過程中會產(chǎn)生一種叫NADPH的物質(zhì)能以保護紅血球免受氧化物質(zhì)的威脅。 G6PD缺乏時，若身體接觸到具氧化性的特定物質(zhì)或服用了這類藥物，紅血球就容易被破壞而發(fā)生急性溶血反應(yīng)。 |
