As part of the heme biosynthetic pathway, catalyzes the sequential polymerization of four molecules of porphobilinogen to form hydroxymethylbilane, also known as preuroporphyrinogen. SWISS: P08397 Gene ID: 3145 卟膽原脫氨酶，為血紅素等四吡咯環(huán)化合物合成通路中的催化酶。PBGD催化卟膽原(Porphobilingen，PBG)底物的線性四聚化，反應(yīng)過(guò)程中四分子卟膽原底物有序性的共價(jià)連接到酶的輔基上，最后水解形成具有四聯(lián)吡咯環(huán)結(jié)構(gòu)的尿卟啉原前體。PBGD的活力缺陷會(huì)引起急性間歇性卟啉癥(Acute Intermittant Porphyria，AIP)的發(fā)生。 |

25 ug total protein per lane of various lysates (see on figure) probed with HMBS monoclonal antibody, unconjugated (bsm-61270R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4°C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at r.t. for 60 min.
